The Castle Pines Motorcycle Club seeks to enjoy the great American motorcycling culture through organizing both short and long runs to awesome destinations, our only criteria for a Run is Fun. Throughout the year, members volunteer to host WTF Runs where only the leading member and the tail gunner know the destination or route, leaving all the others to mumble “WTF, where are we going?”
Typical Runs by season are:
Winter – Colorado Motorcycle Expo to buy starter bikes for grandkids and other local events like Children’s Hospital Toy Run and poker runs.
Spring – Arizona Bike Week and season kickoff party.
Summer – The club typically does one or two big runs to mountain destinations like Telluride, Aspen, Jackson, or Park City in June and July with some golf, shooting or horseback, or other adventures mixed in.
August brings the club’s annual pilgrimage to Sturgis.
Fall brings a run called the Beaver Hunt—always a great time in the changing colors of Fall in the Rockies.
And every other fall one particularly crazy Bad Little Bird completes the Cannonball Run across the
country on vintage motorcycles.
In October, the club has gathered every year at Shanahan’s Steakhouse for an annual celebration and club dinner to reminisce about that year's trips and events and welcome new members with patch presentations.
The club periodically participates in charity events or provides assistance to organizations in the community.
